MEMBERSHIP DUES INCREASE TO $90 PER INDIVIDUAL
IN FISCAL YEAR 08

 

Due to increasing costs related to offering training programs of the highest quality, the Advisory Board of Directors of North East Multi-Regional Training has revised its policy regarding the member department subscriber fee for which a member department must pay.  The member department subscriber fee will be increased from $85.00 per individual officer to $90.00 per officer. This revision takes effect for Fiscal Year 08.

  1. You may pay for all full-time, part-time, reserve and auxiliary officers, and civilians within your total membership at $90.00 per individual.
  1. You may pay for all full-time officers and only a specified number of your total civilian, reserve, part-time, and auxiliary officers. The number chosen is entirely up to you.
  1. You may pay for full-time officers only and pay non-member tuition fees for those classes attended by your civilian, reserve, part-time, and auxiliary officers. 

As an added benefit, members employing more than 125 full-time officers need only pay for the first 125 officers. This maximum membership fee of $11,250.00 entitles all full-time officers, not merely the first 125, to unlimited training through North East Multi-Regional Training for the membership year. Membership fees would still need to be paid for any part-time, reserve, or civilian employees you wish to include.

Occasionally, courses are offered that require tuition from member and non-member departments alike. These fees arise from the special equipment that may accompany the course, or from the expense arising from bringing in an out-of-state expert for timely courses of a technical nature. However, member department tuition fees are typically lower than a non-member’s.
