Occasionally, courses are offered that require tuition from both member and non-member departments. These fees may be necessary for courses that involve special equipment or an out-of-state subject-matter expert for timely, technical training.
Member department tuition rates are typically lower than non-member rates.

Who should we include under our membership?
You may include all full-time officers and, at your discretion, any number of civilian, reserve, part-time, and auxiliary personnel.
Can we change our selected coverage later?
Yes. Agencies can adjust the number of covered non–full-time personnel each membership year during renewal.
Do special course fees replace membership?
No. Special course tuition is assessed per course when applicable and is separate from annual membership dues.
