This class is ideal for women who serve as officers, lockup personnel, and community service officers. Those attending will learn better ways to move, strike, defend and avoid attacks within the legal use of force guidelines. This course will make modifications for those attending, depending on their areas of responsibilities. All techniques are compatible with current defensive tactics systems and can be employed as simple add-ons. Those attending who are officers will learn how to subdue, restrain, and gain compliance, while others attending will focus on defense against street attacks until backup assistance can arrive. Defensive tactics instructors have found many of these techniques useful, because they provide very simple, practical techniques to accompany the varying needs of officers and women serving within the department. This course is taught by Danny Halligan, President of Halligan's Combat Training Systems. PLEASE WEAR WORKOUT ATTIRE FOR THIS CLASS. Students must sign waivers on site in order to participate and attend.
