This one day course will cover the basics of obtaining and analyzing telephone and internet records in support of criminal investigations. This course will apply to investigators, investigative supervisors, criminal analysts, prosecutors and support personnel. Those attending will learn how this information has been used to further an investigation. Topics covered will be: * identifying service providers, * preserving records, * how to obtain various records Advanced topics and techniques will be also be discussed. This class will be taught by Investigator Dennis Carroll, Wisconsin Attorney General's Office.
