You should know the following:

How to cancel an officer from a class due to illness
- If you wish to cancel an officer from class, do one of the following:
  - Click here to report an absence by e-mail
  - Call 630.896.8860 ext. 100 and leave a message with the following information:
    - Name
    - Department
    - Class Name
    - Class Date
    - Class Location
    - Reason for Cancellation
How to check if a class has been cancelled
- Click here an you will be re-directed to the Emergency Closing Center. Use this web-site to see if our NEMRT classes are closed.
If you are a NEMRT instructor calling in sick, please call 630.346.1349. This number is to be used only by instructor's to call in the event of an emergency during NEMRT's off duty hours.

**Please note: At the discretion of the director, NEMRT may reduce or waive cancellation and no-show fees during a pandemic period. Please call NEMRT to determine if this is in effect.**
