The Members of the Advisory Board of Directors have, by resolution, created a Policy and By-laws Committee. This standing committee is directly responsible to the Advisory Board of Directors.

1. Purpose: The development, writing, and maintenance of the Corporation's By-laws, the development of policies for the more efficient and effective delivery of NEMRT services and overall administration of the corporation.
2. Appointments: In accordance with the NEMRT By-laws, the President shall make appointments to this committee as needed.
3. Duties:
   1. Reviewing and recommending to the full Advisory Board of Directors the approval of all proposed amendments to the corporate By-laws
   2. Reviewing and recommending to the full Advisory Board of Directors the approval of existing Policies for the more efficiently and effective delivery of NEMRT services and overall administration of the corporation
   3. Reviewing and recommending  to the full Advisory Board of Directors the approval of organizational changes, directives, policies, etc., which , in the committees' oversight role, it has determined to be necessary for the certification of NEMRT by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies
   4. Completing any additional projects as may be assigned by the Advisory Board of Directors
