This 8 hour program has been designed to improve shooting performance under CQB conditions. While building on Level I material, this course will specifically deal with deliberate methods of conducting room clearing scenarios and add the use of the rifle into CQB methodologies. Practical application of the drills will be conducted in glass-house, live fire scenarios. Topics to be addressed include: • Review of Material from Level I • Threshold Assessment Tactics • Weapon Manipulation for CQB • Accuracy and Speed Drills Specific to CQB • Use of Glass House Structures to Train CQB • Integration of the Rifle into CQB Methodology The goals of this course are to better prepare officers to prevail in close quarters battle environments where the shooter, the suspect, and uninvolved parties are in close proximity to, or intermingled with, each other. This includes proper manipulation of thresholds, doorways, follow-on rooms, and room entry. Individuals attending should bring the following: * 200 Rounds Rifle Ammunition * 100 Rounds Pistol Ammunition COURSE PREREQUISITES: Students must have previously attended “Building a Patrol CQB Program”, “CQB Level I” or similar course prior to attending this course.
