This two-day, hands-on seminar is an introduction to the application of photography in law enforcement functions and is designed to enhance the skills of participants through a combination of lecture and hands-on learning opportunities.        

This course will cover the following topics:    
-  Basic photographic theories and principles  
-  35mm and digital camera operation  
-  Crime scene documentation  
-  Flash photography  
-  Introduction to digital imaging and transition    

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING THEIR AGENCY'S CAMERA AND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL TO THIS COURSE.        

**The subject matter of this course falls within the key training guidelines for the in-service training requirements for Lead Homicide Investigator.**    

This course has been certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and is not reimbursable by the ILETSB.
