************SCROLL DOWN FOR REQUIRED EQUIPMENT********************** This comprehensive two day program has been expanded from the original one day format and offers basic protective theories and concepts appropriate for both management and line officers. This seminar is suitable for departments that interface with outside agency providers or for those that provide internal protective functions, such as mayoral or other local dignitary protective functions. Topic to be addressed include: - Planning, execution, and debriefing - Basic assault protective drills - Intelligence coordination - Close protection concepts - Communications and equipment - Management and supervision - Ethics - Practical scenarios (4 hrs.) EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Departments are asked to provide their larger vehicles (i.e. 4 x 4's and 4 - door vehicles, if available) for field exercises. This class has been submitted to and may be funded by a grant from the Illinois Terrorism Task Force through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
