This 8 hour program will provide officers with the most recent information on the lifestyles, inner workings, criminal trends, and intergang rivalries of the four largest motorcycle gangs. While officers will become acquainted with motorcycle gang activities in other regions of the country, special attention will be devoted to those gangs whose members are becoming more active in Illinois. Topics will include: - Gang identification, hangouts, affiliations - Profiles, history, organization, and networks - Recent incursions into drug manufacturing and trafficking - Prostitution, insurance fraud, homicide, extortion, assaults for hire - Targeting suburbs for designer drug distribution - Road stop weapons and safety considerations - The role of "biker women" in criminal activities - Intelligence, enforcement, and investigative recommendations - Understanding traditional organized crime and white supremacy group ties to motorcycle gangs This course has been certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and is not reimbursable by the ILETSB.
