This three-day course, formerly entitled "Street Spanish," focuses on key words, common commands, and frequently used phrases encountered and used by law enforcement. Vocabulary for weapons, arrest and booking, traffic stops, and medical situations will be learned. Other areas to be explored include: - Family relationships, titles, D.O.B.s - Street names for common drugs - Threats against the police - Time expressions This course has been certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and is not reimbursable by the ILETSB.
