North East Multi-Regional Training, Inc., exists to provide its members high quality cost effective training programs, and criminal justice related information and services with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
North East Multi-Regional Training is one of sixteen Mobile Teams of the Illinois ASSIST Program. We provide in-service training to law enforcement and corrections personnel throughout the metropolitan Chicago land area.
Since its incorporation in 1983, NEMRT has trained thousands of officers throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Students attending our programs span every rank, from community service officers to chiefs of police. Our annual budget slightly exceeds $3M and we use these dollars wisely, developing and delivering nearly 900 seminars and workshops to more than 19,000 law enforcement professionals. Our seminars and workshops range in length from 2 hours to 400 hours and the course content vary from basic refresher training to highly sophisticated, advanced and specialized training.
